The Worst Videos Of All Time About Rotating Whiteboards

Where I work a magnetic glass board and more.

A couple of weeks back, I painted a glass board in my office with both magnetic paint and colour paint, so now I've got myself an expensive pants office magnetic glass board! Incredible, ideal!? I've wished to change up my office for a long time, and lastly, it hit me precisely what I wanted. So I picked up Rust-oleum magnetic guide and a large piece of glass board and triggered to work!

The magnetic paint was kind of a hassle. I most likely wouldn't utilize it ever again. It was insanely tough to blend. All the magnetic particles or whatever were simply in a strong three-inch glob at the bottom. My arms were really aching from mixing this stuff. (If you choose some up in your area ask someone in the paint department to throw it in the blending device for you real fast to make it a bit much easier!) On top of that, it took two full cans and what seemed like a billion coats to even get it from another location magnetic. I'm actually happy I didn't decide to paint an even larger location than this, that would have been insane.

Let's discuss just how much the magnetic guide stinks! I had all my windows open, the fan running, taking all the preventative measures I 'd typically take when painting. A few hours after I was done painting, I started smelling gas. I called the gas company and started a small flip out. I grabbed all four felines, put them in three providers and pushed them in my cars and truck. Then ran back in the house, grabbed a bunch of things that were unique to me and pulled my vehicle out into the road and waited for the gas business to show up. Almost an hour later on the man appears, and I take him into the house. Long story short, he didn't smell anything, his maker could not find any gas, and he asked if I 'd be painting. How awkward!! I'm not 100% sure why it took so long for the odor to get to me especially due to the fact that it never truly smelled in the room I was painting however after I began painting once again with the second can I realized this things does sort of smell like gas.

Anyhow, back to my little job. The next day, after that was all dry, I applied the orange colour paint on the glass board, which was a breeze compared to the magnetic stuff. I painted 2 coats and waited on a couple of days prior to "conditioning" it (which is just rubbing down the entire thing in chalk, so it's simpler to remove.) Easy peasy! I like how it doesn't really look like I painted the glass board itself however hung a huge piece of a coloured magnetic whiteboard.

In spite of being a little bit of pain in the butt, I'm really happy with how this ended up even if I need to use extremely strong magnets and whatever is now covered in a great layer of chalk dust. Ha! I wouldn't advise using the magnetic primer if you're looking for something simple, inexpensive or very strong but the coloured glass board paint is excellent. It's incredibly neat to be able to write on a large glass board that hangs right on my wall!

As well as that little job, I also cleared out the closet in this room that was house to lots of random things, much of which now are at the charity. With that closet clean, I was able to move one of my clothing racks in there, which freed up a ton of space and made the room SO much better. I stacked my shoe racks, so they used up less floor space and moved in a table for succulents. I'm so pleased with this space now. It's incredible how much of a difference little changes to the office like that can make.

I love this little office of mine, but next time I will utilize a professional company to make me amagnetic glass board!
